About Me
My name is Brett Wright. I'm the author of the reviews hosted here on Wrighting Reviews.
From age 13 onwards, I began to get into the production side of videos. I learned the basics of editing as well as attempted a bit of shooting before taking my first formal production class at age 15. By 2014, I had my Bachelor's degree in Media Production with a dual minor in English and Film.
In the winter of 2016, I received a Master's degree in Literature & Writing from Union Institute and University with a concentration on Cinema Studies. Wrighting Reviews actually began in a class centered on applications of skills for this program, continuing on once the class was over due to a newfound love of the review format.
When not watching films, writing reviews, or heading productions, I can usually be found with a good beer and better friends.
